Philip A Coleman

Philip A Coleman is an expressionist acrylic artist living in Calgary and Canmore, Alberta, Canada. The Impressionist painters of Europe and Canada's Group of Seven inspire Philip's passion for color and texture. His paintings are in private and corporate collections in North America and the Middle East. Philip's Western Canadian heritage, his work experience and his art training combined with his frequent visits to the art galleries of the world have helped mold Philip's creative spirit in a big and bold format. Philip has been formally studying painting in his preferred medium of acrylics for the past ten years. He is a successful entrepreneur, geologist, investor and consultant, working primarily in the oil and gas industry for more than three decades.

Philip will be exibited at the Yunomi Studio and Gallery to open in Victoria in early September, 2009.  Details to follow.
